LEAP   Institute

An oasis of leadership development training for Africans

By 2030, 1.3 billion of the world’s population would be living in Africa and the number of youth would have increased by 42%. Youth can be a positive force for development when provided with the knowledge and opportunities that they need to thrive. – UN Youth Population Fact 2016 Report

Given LEAP’s track record over the past fifteen years, we strongly believe that we are uniquely position to equip the growing number of African youth with the life, leadership, employability and entrepreneurial skills that they need to live full and meaningful lives and achieve their highest potential.

Since our inception in 2002, LEAP has provided training, coaching and support to more than 40,000 young Nigerians directly, and over 300,000 indirectly. Our programmes have evolved over the years and they continue to address the needs and gaps in leadership, ethics, entrepreneurship, and business sustainability Nigeria. Some of these programmes have also been executed in 6 African countries. Beyond these training programmes, our research has been transformed into 11 business and youth focused books and elearning curriculum.

LEAP is poised to scale its impact significantly and increase opportunities for Africans. It seeks to deepen its efforts by creating an environment for Africans to access training and resources that will enable them champion change and drive sustainable businesses.  Our goal is to ensure that every youth is inspired, empowered and equipped with the skills and tools for personal, organization and community transformation.

How LEAP is poised to maximize the youth bulge to actualize its vision.
