Wale Ajiboye
Senior Programme Coordinator
 Wale joined LEAP in August 2009. He has over six years experience in banking. Prior to joining LEAP, he worked with Guaranty Trust Bank where he led the process improvement initiative in clearing operations.

He is responsible for coordinating LEAP’s Business Leadership programmes as well as developing new initiatives for the unit.

 

He has a business degree (MBA) from Hult Business School, Boston, and obtained his BSc. in Estate Management from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and the American Society for Quality. He writes lyrical poems and enjoys watching Arsenal play. He also has an interest in documentary photography.

Lillian Amalu
Programme Coordinator

Communications and External Affairs
Lillian Amalu serves as a Programme Coordinator in the Communication and External Affairs department. She is responsible for the creation and production of LEAP's newsletter, annual report, monthly updates and newspaper articles and also for managing LEAP’s external relations. She facilitates sessions at LEAP's Youth Programmes and also represents LEAP at external engagements.

 

Lillian is a graduate of Printing Technology from Yaba College of Technology. She also holds a Certificate in Media Enterprise from the School of Media and Communication, Pan African University Lagos and a Certificate in Basic Business Writing Skills from Toki Mabogunje and Co.

 

She is also a trained Counselor and Peer Educator for reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS.

Asuquo Asuquo
Programme Coordinator
Youth Leadership Department
Asuquo serves as the Programme Coordinator for LEAP’s Youth Department. His responsibilities include managing the Leadership, Ethics and Civics (LEC) Programme, which is designed to equip secondary school students in public schools with life and leadership skills. In addition he is responsible for monitoring and supervising change initiatives implemented by LEAP youth participants across Nigeria, as well as managing the LEAP Youth Alumni

Network. Asuquo also represents LEAP at speaking engagements. 

 

Prior to joining LEAP, Asuquo worked as an information Technology resource person at Global Portal Services an IT firm based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Asuquo holds a bachelors degree in Geography, from the University of Ibadan. He also has a Certificate in Project Cycle Management from MDF Training and Consultancy Ede, The Netherlands and is a Fellow of the Netherlands Fellowship Programme.


Kehinde Ayeni
Communications and External Affairs Department

 Kehinde Ayeni is responsible for managing and maintaining flow of external correspondences, assisting with logistics associated with the successful implementation of LEAP’s programmes, management and maintaining internal or external and meeting schedule and providing research support for LEAP's publications in the Communications Department.

 

Prior to her appointment, she worked in International Uniforms Nigeria Limited as a Marketing Officer and also an Executive sales Representative at Niseno Roxan.

Kehinde has her first degree in Geography and Education from the University of Ilorin. She served in Enugu State with the Board of Internal Revenue, Enugu Liaison Office and she is also an alumni of LEAP Africa.

Obo Henshaw
Programme Coordinator

Business Leadership Department and Special Projects
Obo joined LEAP after completing her National Youth Service Corps in Lagos State where she taught as a teacher in Kuramo Junior College, Victoria- Island. As part of her job responsibilities she is responsible for facilitating training programmes across Nigeria, and managing LEAP’s special projects.

Obo holds a B. A (French) from the University of Calabar where she studies Modern Languages and Translation Studies, She also holds a Diplôme from the centre Beninois des Langues Etrangères from Cotonou, Benin Republic and is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

Oje Ivagba
Senior Programme Coordinator

Youth Department
Oje connected to LEAP after completing his National Youth Service Corps programme in Kano, where he served as a radio host on two flagship programmes on the Kano State FM Radio. He also had a brief stint of TV presentation through a personal pilot private TV magazine project "Who is Who in African Education".

At LEAP, he coordinates the activities of the youth department, liaises with the programme sponsors and partners towards design, implementation and evaluation of all youth programmes offered by LEAP. He is responsible for coordinating LEAP's Annual Youth Leadership Awards.


Oje facilitates sessions at LEAP's youth programmes and also represents LEAP at various speaking engagements connected to youth development.
He holds a bachelors degree in Mass Communication, from the University of Lagos and has also been trained on Strategies and Tools for Leadership Beyond Boundaries at the Centre for Creative Leadership, Greensboro North Carolina.

Dele Kayode-Ojo
Accounts Department

Dele serves as LEAP’s Accountant. He has a wealth of experience in Operational and Financial Audit, as well as Production and Material Utilization Audit.

Prior to joining LEAP, Dele served as an Account officer in Stallion Group where he performed the duty of transaction posting, bank reconciliation and preparation of Group Accounts. He also worked with Jagal Group of Companies as an Internal Auditor where he audited the accounts and operational activities of the Manufacturing and Construction arm of the Group. He attended various in-house training on production costing and Programme/Project evaluation.

He is a Graduate of Accountancy from The Polytechnic Ibadan and a Student Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He is in the final stage of qualifying to be a member of the Institute.

Mosunmola Layode
Executive Director

Mosun serves as the Executive Director of LEAP Africa.

She joined LEAP as a Programme Coordinator to manage the Trendsetters Social Entrepreneurs' Programme, a joint initiative between LEAP Africa and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship. Mosun later served as the Manager for the Business Leadership and Special Projects Department. In that role she managed the Africa Leadership Initiative (ALI) West Africa, a joint initiative with the Aspen Institute, Databank Foundation and Technoserve that seeks to develop a new generation of community-spirited leaders in Ghana and Nigeria.

She also managed the Nigeria 2025 Project, which is designed to develop a series of scenarios on how Nigeria could evolve in future. Mosun also served as a facilitator for LEAP's Business Leadership Programmes across Nigeria and represented LEAP at local and international events. Prior to joining LEAP, Mosun worked as Programme Coordinator at Rhythm Productions, a social development focused Production Company. During her National Youth Service, she served at UACN Property Development Company

 

Mosun received a Bachelors degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Federal University of Technology Akure. She also obtained an M.Sc from Lagos State University, where she studied Environmental Resources Management. In addition, Mosun is a Kabissa Certified Trainer and an alumnus of the United States International Visitor Leadership Program.

Ngozi Obigwe
Chief Operating Officer

Ngozi serves as the Chief Operating Officer at LEAP Africa. Prior to this role, she was the General Manager, where she was responsible for overseeing LEAP’s programmes, managing the programme staff and functions as well as monitoring programme activities to ensure they met their preset targets and objectives. She joined LEAP as the Programmes Manager for its Youth Department, where she had to manage the activities of its Integrity Institute, Leadership for Health and Youth Leadership Programmes. In her roles at LEAP, she has represented and made presentations on behalf of the organisation at several local and international conferences. She also serves as a facilitator for LEAP’s Programmes across Nigeria.

Ngozi came to LEAP with over seven years of work experience in the Nigerian Corporate Environment, specifically the oil and gas sector. Prior to LEAP, she worked with Sea Petroleum & Gas Group of Companies in various departments including Marketing, Administration and Client/Public Relations.

Ngozi serves on the Board of several youth initiatives in an advisory role, including the African Youth Unite for Change (AFYUCh), One Magazine, Youth Action Initiatives and Young and Responsible.

Ngozi is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She also has a master’s degree in Public & International Affairs from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. In addition, she is a member of the second cohort of the British Council organized Interaction Leadership Programme

Obiora Omenye
Accounts Department

Prior to joining LEAP, Obiora worked as the Admin/Account Officer at Eddy Bakery and Confectionaries. During his National Youth Service, Obiora served as an Account Officer in the Reconciliation Department at the Office of the Account General, Ogun State.

Obiora holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Ambrose Ali University, Edo State. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. He is also a student member of ICAN and Institute of Cost Management Accountants.
