Meet the 8th Annual Nigerian Youth Awards Winners
Oladipupo Ajiroba
Oladipupo Ajiroba is a graduate of Botany from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State. Oladipupo is the initiator of The Environment Advocates Managers (TEAM).

TEAM utilizes interactive youth-to-youth workshops, quarterly forums, rural agricultural extension services and environment protection services to build youth awareness and understanding of environmental management.

Babatunde David
David Babatunde is a 2011 Electronic and Electrical Engineering graduate of Covenant University, Ota who initiated Youth for Generating Change (YGC) Africa.

YGC Africa utilizes the print media, social networking platforms as well as Information and Communication Technology as important tools for engaging young people in Nigeria and Africa in general, to actively participate in the development of their respective countries and the Continent at large.

Babafemi Oyediran
Babafemi is a graduate of Architecture from the Federal University of Technology, Minna. As a result, of his interest in rural enterprise, he initiated the Rural Enterprise Development Project (Project RED).

Through partnerships with indigenous and international development organizations, Project RED trains rural entrepreneurs on business fundamentals, business improvement strategies and other skills necessary for growing and sustaining their businesses.

Tolulope Sangosanya
Tolulope Sangosanya is a graduate of Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University; Ogun State. She is also a graduate of the Social Sector Management Programme of the Pan African University, Lagos.

Tolutope's passion for the socio-economic development of vulnerable street children birthed the Love On The Streets (LOTS) Charity Foundation in 2006.

LOTS Charity Foundation currently promotes education and socio-economic empowerment with the aim of transforming disadvantaged youth into productive members of the society. The programme has 125 registered children who attend regularly.

Priscilla Usiobaifo
Priscilla is a final year student of Political Science at Ambrose Alli University, who initiated Brave Heart Initiative (BHI)

Brave Heart Initiative- BHI empowers and develops youth between the ages of 10-25. It provides young people with information and skills training required for making informed choices on their sexual and reproductive rights. In partnership with the Judiciary Police and Medical Practitioners; Brave Heart Initiative protects, treats and seeks legal redress for disadvantaged youth exposed to sexual exploitation in Akodo Edo Local Government Area of Edo State.

The top five winners in the 18-30 category received cash rewards to support their work in their local communities and schools across the country. They also benefitted from the media attention generated through the event which is expected to provide the winners with access to donors and organizations working in related.
